Surprisingly not a big size difference between 195/75R14 and 215/65R16.
The 4x4 stance will be fixed once I put the motor in it.

Now you pretty much need to take it on sweet loop-de-loops on narrow orange tracks.

FACT: These are the best wheels you’ll ever own.

The 720 needs to live!

If I recall correctly the second number (height) is a ratio of the first number (width) so a slightly wider tire with a slightly lower ratio equals roughly the same diameter tire.
I’m a fan of steelies, but those aren’t bad looking rims either.

Yes, from what I understand. It’s 65% of the width is the height of the sidewall.
Meaning that 139.75mm is the 65% of 215. I at least understand regular tires, once they just give widths and heights I get lost on the offroad tires.

Getting the motor in is the easy part. I have a complete dash and engine bay harness from a 1994 D21 and engine computer to go with the 1994 D21 KA24E that’s going in it.
You any good with wiring?

I’m decent at house wiring, but I’ve never done any automotive wiring at all.

I don’t think we can wire the ECU with Romex.

Pft, romex is for pansies. We do hard pipe conduit around here.

Conduit isn’t part of the building code here

I know, I was just teasing. Most places don’t require conduit.

Off road tires are actually very simple. It’s ture height by tread width by rim diameter.
So a 33x10.5x15 is 33 inches in diameter, has a 10.5 inch tread width and fits a 15 inch rim. They don’t measure the sidewall, but instead the entire tire diameter including the rim.
